Writing Groups for Scholars
Register for one of the upcoming FREE virtual Writing Groups to learn best practices from experts and peers on academic writing and publishing.
How to register? - On the right of this page, under Upcoming Events, find a date and time (localized to your time zone) that works best for you and click on that date to register for the Zoom meeting.
Who can participate? All scholarly writers, including students, academics and research professionals are welcome to attend. There is no cost to attend, registration is free.
Registration limited to 100 participants for each writing group session.
Description: The monthly writing groups give you an opportunity to ask an expert about academic writing and publishing, plus learn from your peers and colleagues.
Academic Writing and Publishing: This series is lead by Rich Furman, who will share best practices and speak to the challenges of scholarly writing. Dr. Furman is from Write, Publish, Thrive Coaching, and Professor at University of Washington, Tacoma. The group will meet once a month from January through May 2023.
